Los Angeles, CA -- Assemblymember Curren Price is joining forces with BlackNLA.com and Del Richardson and Associates, Inc. to host a "Live for Change" voter registration and Get-Out-The-Vote event Sunday, October 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 510 S. La Brea Avenue in Inglewood.

The "last push" event is targeting some of the more than 56 million unregistered voters: eight million African Americans and seven million Latinos.

While I am not telling anyone how to vote, I am urging everyone to vote. The times are too serious and the issues too important to not be counted," said Assemblymember Curren Price. "Your vote will make a difference."

The legislator partnered with Del Richardson and Associates, Inc. and BlackNLA.com. These organizations will be providing computers/laptops for online registration among other election material.

The event will provide:

>> Online registration and hard copy voter registration forms

>> Local politicians to answer questions about various propositions

>> Local vendors representing each political party
