Beverly Hills, Calif. – The Beverly Hills/West Hollywood Democratic Club endorsed Measure H, a ballot measure that supports The Beverly Hilton Revitalization project. This endorsement joins other local leaders and organizations that support Measure H.

The Beverly Hilton Revitalization project transforms The Beverly Hilton, brings the first West Coast Waldorf-Astoria to Beverly Hills, creates one of the biggest economic public benefit packages in Beverly Hills´ history, makes significant improvements in traffic flow at the Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevard intersection, and improves the overall appearance of the western gateway to Beverly Hills.

In such a tough economic time, this project creates jobs, keeps hundreds of Union employees working, and adds millions to the city´s operating budget," said Robert Kalonian, president of the Beverly Hills/West Hollywood Democratic Club.

We´ve studied the project and are impressed with the positive benefits and the leadership The Beverly Hilton has demonstrated in working with local unions. We believe that passing Measure H is good for Beverly Hills citizens."

The Beverly Hilton Hotel was also recently received the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor´s Martin Luther King Leadership Award.

We are thrilled to receive the endorsement of the Beverly Hills/West Hollywood Democratic Club," said Beny Alagem, owner of the Beverly Hilton.
